Abertura do Spaces Joana d’Arc reforça o dinamismo empresarial de Matosinhos Sul

On November 6, 2025, Geo Investimentos proudly celebrated the official opening of Spaces Joana d’Arc, a new office development that further strengthens the business dynamics of Matosinhos Sul.

Located in the historic building of the former Joana d’Arc cannery, the project — promoted and developed by Geo Investimentos — represents the perfect balance between architectural heritage and sustainable modernity. The intervention preserved the original façades and industrial character, reinterpreting them into a contemporary and functional space designed to enhance well-being and productivity.

With a total area exceeding 8,000 sqm, the development includes approximately 4,500 sqm of office space, generous outdoor areas, and around 3,600 sqm of parking facilities, accommodating more than 100 vehicles — a solution that meets today’s mobility and comfort needs.

The inauguration ceremony brought together business partners, clients, friends, and representatives from leading real estate brokers, as well as a delegation from the Municipality of Matosinhos led by Mayor Luísa Salgueiro. In her remarks, she highlighted the project’s importance for the municipality, describing it as a significant contribution to attracting new companies and strengthening the city’s economic and urban dynamism.

The project was executed by Geo Investimentos’ Design & Build department, in close partnership with Modular System, representing an investment of over €15 million.

Developed specifically for Spaces. offices | co-working | meeting rooms., the premium brand of the IWG – International Workplace Group, the new Spaces Matosinhos is the brand’s first location in Northern Portugal. Designed to host more than 140 national and multinational companies, the space has the potential to generate over 500 jobs, positioning itself as a leading business hub in the region.
